Disney Stores to Become More Interactive
Disney plans to re-energize its Disney Store brand to help customers’ interact with its characters and media. In collaboration with Apple and Steve Jobs, Disney stores will be updated to include mini-theaters, satellite links whereby shoppers can interact with characters, displays that interact with chips implanted in store merchandise, and more. According to BrandWeek.com, the new store design will debut in New York in Spring 2010.
